On the North coast.
Our stockist, the Coo’s Tail Gallery can be found in one of the most northerly towns on mainland Scotland. The art gallery and gift shop is owned by Barbara and is based in Thurso, Caithness. Barbara worked in the gallery for years and took ownership in 2015. In the shop you will find the works of many contemporary Scottish artists and designers, including our good pal the artist Hannah Longmuir, alongside our knitted accessories.
New woolies in town.
The Coo’s Tail Gallery has sold a wonderful array of Wonky Woolies for a number of years. As the Scottish Highlands can be wild and windy, it is a great place for our cosy knits! As well as adding goodies from our new collection, such as the Twist & Fold headbands, you can find a restock of our popular Wonky Design knitted hats.
Bound for Thurso.
Our stockist, the Coo’s Tail Gallery, has recently received another batch of bright and beautiful Wonky Woolies in Thurso. Make sure to pop in to have a look and support this local business, who loves to support small Scottish makers like us.
Thurso is a highlight on the North Coast 500 road trip – a scenic driving route spanning over 500 miles of the Scottish Highlands. If you’d like to read more about the NC 500, have a read of our blog post here!
A friendly welcome.
Should you be visiting Thurso, make sure you pop in for a blether with Barbara and her team. You can try some Wonky products on for yourself and browse the beautiful art and gifts. If the famous shop mascot CordyRoy isn’t off on tour, you may be able to catch a wee selfie with him too!
