What is Custom Design?
Custom design hats are part of our bespoke one-to-one service. The custom-make process enables you to bring your idea to us, then we discuss the options together and our team design a digital version to show you how it will look. When we are all happy it will work, we’ll book your order into our workshop and start knitting.
What can I change?
- Pompom – choose the colour, you can include up to 16 colours.
- Logo – have your brand or logo knit into the hat.
- Base colour – choose this colour from our chart.
- Turn-up colour – select your favourite colour.
- Fibre – decide if you would like to use wool or yarn.
- Label – create a customised woven label to have sewn on.

We specialise in replicating logos and hand sketched patterns or characters. We can also include diverse graphics and various styles of font.
Yes, once the sample is produced the minimum order to obtain wholesale prices is 5-10 hats per fibre and design.
Yes, we specialise in creating bespoke designs which are knitted into the hat. Get in touch if you would like to work on a design for a special occasion or a treat for yourself.
Yes, we accommodate large orders however we are a small batch manufacturer and cannot guarantee production space. We will discuss a suitable production timescale with you to fit within your brief.
Yes, sizes must be confirmed before proceeding with any design as this will affect the pattern area. The minimum number of hats per size is 5 in all orders.
You can choose up to 5 colours to use in one hat design.
No, we don’t make labels but we can help to develop your bespoke label layout and liaise with our partner GB Labels, who produce the highest quality woven labels here in the UK. Labels that require sewing onto the product will incur an additional sewing fee, as per the wholesale price list.

Prices vary between yarns. Samples start from £60 for a simple design made in cashmilon acrylic yarn up to a £90 for a complex design made with merino wool. Thereafter, we have 3 price brackets for batch orders with a minimum order of 5-10 hats.
Outwith November and December, and once payment is confirmed, we aim to have your sample hat ready within 7 working days. During the Christmas season, sampling cannot be guaranteed. We urge all customers to complete new design sampling and confirm orders by August to ensure winter delivery.
The turnaround time for batch production depends on the quantity of your order, generally we work to a 5 week turnaround. The production schedule will be confirmed once payment has been received.
All products are individually packaged in plastic free garment bags and shipped in a large cardboard box. We use the Royal Mail 24hr priority service for all parcels.
Postage and packaging is not included in the price, this will be added to the invoice.
Wholesale prices exclude VAT as indicated on the price list.
Children’s bespoke products are exempt from VAT.
