We’re proud to say all of our hats are Made In Scotland! We design, knit and hand-finish our products in our Scottish Borders workshop!
We knit with a variety of yarn in the workshop, ranging from lambswool and merino, to acrylic and Shetland grade wool.
As it’s Shetland Wool Week, we’re taking a closer look at the yarn produced by the hardy wee sheep from the Shetland Islands of Scotland.

As we’re celebrating Wool Week, we’d like to focus this blog post on one of the oldest family-run knitwear businesses in the Borders – William Lockie. Right in the centre of Hawick, this knitwear mill has been running since 1874, mixing advanced technology with traditional hand manufacturing skills to produce garments of the highest quality.
