Keswick Mountain Festival

The first event of our Summer tour is Keswick Mountain Festival, organised by Durty Events. In its 13th year, the festival will take place on 16th-19th May at Crow Park in Keswick, Cumbria. The event is going to be great fun, filled with live music, sporting events, and a variety of outdoor activities.

Sporting Events

Striving to inspire everyone to get outdoors, the festival offers a wide range of activities. From beginners finding their feet to seasoned competitors looking for their next challenge, Keswick has it all. During the weekend there will be trial runs, cycle sportives, open water swimming and triathlons all set against the picturesque Lakeland Fells. Check out the Sports Timetable for info on all the scheduled events during the weekend.

Outdoor Activities

The festival have teamed up with Lake District Walker to run beginner and advanced walking navigational skills courses. In addition, guided walks will take place around Skiddaw and Scafell Pike. If you wish to get out on the water and explore the lake, Platty+ are offering canoeing, kayaking, and paddle boarding tours.

Live Music

Amidst all the action, live music will be performed at the Subaru Music Stage. The line up includes the Peatbog Faeries, Water’s Edge, and Scottish ceilidh music from Ruairidh Maclean. Who doesn’t love a ceilidh? There’s also a DJ set from the Happy Monday’s very own Bez and gospel singer Rowetta belting out the tunes.
