A Borders Wedding

Now in its 12th year, the Border Wedding Show will be held at Springwood Park in Kelso on Sunday 20th October. There will be a whole host of exhibitors specialising in everything needed for tying the knot. Entertainment, florists, and photographers, oh my!

In this blog post, we’re highlighting some local businesses that we think would help to make the perfect wedding!

Wedding flowers

The Flower Room Kelso

The Flower Room creates beautiful bespoke bouquets and arrangements in their studio in Kelso. We can highly recommend them – not only are their flowers gorgeous, they last for a long time too!

Wedding cake

The Dessert Diva

A family-run business in Kelso, designing, baking, and decorating cakes for every occasion! Run by Jill and Scott, all cakes are freshly made to order with locally sourced ingredients! We highly recommend their heavenly brownies, pick them up every month at Kelso Farmers Market.

Beastie Assemblage

Linda Lovatt creates a beautiful range of assemblage and jewellery in her gallery, based in Jedburgh. Made from copper and pieces of pottery, we think her elephant necklace would make a cute gift for your flower girls.

Wedding gift

Whisky Barrel Gifts

Handcrafted in their workshop in Peebles is Whisky Barrel Gifts. Creating cufflinks, candle staves and dram tasting sets from reclaimed whisky barrels. These items make great gifts for the wedding party.

Hannah Longmuir

Hannah is an artist based in the Scottish Borders. Her love of nature inspires her pencil drawings which she sells as original artwork, prints and gifts. We love this cute set of 5 bumble bee thank you cards!
