Torridon Collection

Torridon is one of our favourite places to visit.  This region, set in the North west of Scotland, has a rich landscape of mountains, sea, twisty roads and magnificent views.

Our Torridon design encapsulates all of these aspects of nature, wrapped into our hand crafted merino wool accessories.  We have chosen 5 vibrant colours for this collection, which look spectacular outdoors.  Indigo and royal blue, represent the sea loch, burgundy and red reflect the mountain range and orange and gold remind us of the beautiful sunsets and golden sun.

Knitted hat

The Torridon hat features a fixed turn up, which gives the hat a close fit to the head.  The double knitted layer is doubled p around the ears, making this an exceptionally cosy hat.  We can’t decide if the hat is better with or without a pompom, so we are offering both!  The pompom hat features a bright blue pompom to mirror the graphic blue turn up.  The pompom-less hat is sewn at the crown with the beautiful gold of the sun.  Which one do you prefer?

Knitted headband

Our Torridon headband uses the mountains, sea and sky graphics to create a vibrant pattern around the head.  Wear the headband under your hood for maximum cosiness on rainy days.  Or use it to protect your ears from the wind when out running or walking.

We have knitted the Torridon hat and headband each with a double layer of luxurious merino wool.  This type of wool is breathable and hypoallergenic, making it excellent to wear during outdoor pursuits.

Pompom keyring

Finally, never lose your keys again!  Stick a pompom keyring on there and you will always be able to locate your keys in your bag.  Made with with same 5 colours from the collection, this keyring is so soft you won’t be able to put it down.

About us

We hope you like our new collection.  Ware based in Kelso, in the Scottish Borders, where we design, knit and hand finish all of our knitwear ourselves.  We find inspiration in nature, and we love to head into the hills for long walks and bike rides.  Our aim is to create useful products with care and attention, that will bring you warmth and joy for many years.
