New to our collection of timeless knitwear is our Wonky tartan scarf.
Designed and knitted in our Scottish Borders micro-factory, the tartan scarf is the softest product we have ever created. What makes this scarf Wonky, the unique blend of wool, cashmere and cotton used to knit them. We have been fortunate to receive a small quantity of industry surplus yarns that we are thoroughly enjoying knitting. We have a small stock of colours which makes each product in our Wonky rage limited edition.
The grey and black scarf is knitted with a blend of superfine merino wool and cashmere. This scarf is super soft on skin and has a lovely brushed texture. Using two colours in the tartan pattern creates the inverse colourway on the reverse. We love to see this, especially when worn, as it creates an interesting aspect.
Knitted with a wool, cashmere and cotton blend, is our red and black tartan scarf. A striking combination of colours, adding vibrancy to your outdoor wardrobe. This scarf is slightly heavier than the grey scarf due to the cotton content. The cotton is cool and sleek, a fantastic contrast to the black wool/cashmere. Luxuriously soft and breathable, this scarf is ideal during the changing seasons.
The scarves are 200cm x 27cm.
To wash the scarf, handle it with care, a cool hand wash will be sufficient. Our tartan scarf can be washed carefully on a delicate or wool cycle at 30 degrees. We don’t advise a fast spin or tumble dry. As wool is odor resistant and breathable, it seldom requires washing and will last a lifetime.
