Add a major layer of comfort to your outfit with our lambswool blanket scarf.
Each scarf is one of a kind, designed and knit slowly by our team in Kelso. The ribbed structure uses twice the amount of wool, making this our cosiest scarf to date. Blending shades of lambswool throughout the scarf with random intervals is fun to do. We curate the colours of the scarves first before converting the wool from the cone into something warm and cosy to wear.
Merino lambswool is a soft and breathable fibre. After we have knitted them, we wash and slightly felt the wool scarves for maximum durability. Felting the wool fibres together creates a robust surface which means this blanket scarf will always look fresh. The scarves are long enough to wrap around twice and they look great worn as a shawl instead of a jacket.
They can be used as a blanket, as the name suggests, as they expand in width with the rib knitted structure.
Merino lambswool is a very soft wool which is kind on sensitive skin. Wool is breathable which helps to regulate your body temperature. It is comfortable to wear all day and doesn’t often need washed. To wash the scarf, handle it with care, a cool hand wash will be sufficient. Wool is naturally odor repellent, hang the scarf up after use and it will remain fresh. To find out more about the qualities of wool, take a look at our blog, ‘Wool – Myth busting’ .
The blue lambswool blanket scarf is 203cm x 66cm. The purple scarf is slightly wider at 203 x 76 inches.
