Team Wonky have just waved TSCHÜß (farewell) to 40 of our Wonky bobble hats. This batch are travelling 1029 miles from Glasgow to our new stockist Brandmarken- Shoes, Accessories, Gossip in Jena, Germany.
It’s that time of year again when Team Wonky are finalising all of our orders to be sent from Scotland over to our Japanese stockists. We’ve got 5 orders totaling over 1000 handmade luxury bobble hats this year which are being knitted now and will hit the shelves in October.

Wonky Woolies – a knitwear house headed up by ‘chief Wonky’ Alison Burn – marries traditional techniques with contemporary output in the form of a range of standard and custom-made bobble hats created with old knitting machines. The result is an unusual combination of expert functionality and bold, modern aesthetic.
Chief Wonky, Alison, was recently approached by the Scottish Development International team to give her own account of the world of exporting. This story has now been featured in the current BQ Magazine publication.
