Our unique flame hat features deep folds of texture, which not only looks great but adds more insulation. This is a heavyweight Merino wool which is available in 4 wonderful tones, all framed with charcoal grey around the face. The pompom is a mix of 8 colours, adding a flash of colour at the top of the hat. Handmade by Maw Wonky and finished in our studio, we love this type of wool because it is super soft and hypoallergenic for sensitive skin. Part of our Wonky collection, the short fitted snug hat. Pair this with one of the other products from our range to make a matching set or mismatching set! Made from soft acrylic yarn, the Wonky snug is knit with a double layer around the turn up making it super cosy and comfortable. Ettrick design – Wool bobble hat
Our unique Ettrick design has been inspired by the Ettrick valley and Ettrick water, local to our workshop. We have used hardy wool for these bobble hats which is perfect for an outdoor lifestyle. Wool is a sustainable fibre which provides a natural barrier of insulation whilst remaining breathable, it is amazing! The pompom felts during the washing process giving it a sold ball shape. Being wool, these hats don't need to be washed regularly however, if you do want to freshen it up, a careful warm hand wash is recommended and it will last forever.
