Welcoming the lambswool wiggle scarf!

Designed in a dream, yes really, and knitted in our micro-factory in Kelso.  Our luxurious lambswool wiggle scarf feels like a hug from a cloud.

New to our collection of wool accessories this year is our delightful blanket scarf.  The wiggle pattern is accentuated with our choice of contrasting colours.  The blanket scarf also works as a shawl, a knee blanket, a wall hanging or a pretty decent flag, it is versatile.  Knitted with merino lambswool, this adds a soft layer of warm wool to your outfit.

We knit each scarf on our V bed knitting machine with two layers of wool.  We then hand finish it, wash it and press it to agitate the fibres and create a soft and cosy finish.  The orange and cream scarf and the purple, green and pink scarf are both one of a kind sample pieces.

Merino lambswool is a fine fibre which is soft enough for sensitive skin.  Wool is both temperature regulating and breathable to wear comfortably all day.  It is not necessary to wash wool very often as it has self cleaning properties.  A spot clean will take off any spillages or a gentle hand wash with very little detergent is sufficient to refresh the scarf.  Have a look at our blog titled, ‘Wool – Myth busting’  to read more about the qualities of wool.
