The Coorie bobble hat. In Scotland the word Coorie means to keep cosy, to cuddle in. Knitted with a double layer of merino wool, The Coorie bobble hat is well named. Merino wool is a great fibre to wear outdoors as it’s both moisture wicking and temperature regulating.
The Coorie design features a contrasting stripe on the edge of the turn up. A bright wool pompom tops it off with a pop of colour.
Available in two colours: The silver hat with black and white turn up and mixed tone red pompom. The purple hat with orange stripe and mixed blue tone pompom.
We are super proud of the Corrie bobble hat which has been tested in the ultimate conditions. In 2019 Geth Morton wore it on his Mount Everest expedition and sent us a picture on the top! Geth told us “the hat kept me warm at -39 on the summit”. Geth uses this as his profile picture @ggd.211 on his Instagram account.
Our team all love wearing Merino wool products. The wool is very soft on your skin and the colours are beautifully rich. It is a sustainable choice too as wool is self generating. If you would like to read more about wool, read out blog titled “Wool, Myth Busting”.
To care for your Coorie bobble hat, simply wash it in the machine at 30 degrees. Turn it inside out first to protect the hand stitched pompom. Try to dry the hat flat to avoid creases and do not tumble dry.
