Description

Children’s hats, choose from one of our brightly coloured designs.  The elephant, the rainbow, the unicorn, the sheep or the tractor hat, they will all bring a smile to little faces.  The merino beanies are super popular with little ones and the bonus is, they fit adults too!

We have knitted all of the children’s pompom hats with acrylic yarn, which is durable and soft.  We knit the fisherman style beanie hats with luxurious merino wool, which is very comfortable.  Merino wool is hypoallergenic and breathable, perfect for sensitive skin.  Both styles of hat are machine washable, though merino wool is self cleaning and rarely needs washed.

To enhance comfort and ensure longevity, we have knitted each pompom hat with a double layer of yarn.  Each beanie hat has a turn up to add an extra layer of comfort over little ears on cold days.

Both of the fibres used in our children’s hats is supplied by Yeoman Yarns in Leicester.  If you would like to read more about the types of fibres we like to knit with, read our blog titled Which Wool, exploring yarn.

Our children’s pompom hats are machine washable, we recommend you turn them inside out first to protect the hand sewn pompom.
